Pan Fried Salmon

4 boneless salmon filets
2 T olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 T butter


Heat the oven to 375F.

Drizzle the olive oil over the filet and season with salt and pepper.

Add the butter to an oven proof pan over a high heat. (Cast iron is best if you have one)

Once the butter has melted add the salmon filet and brown on both sides, about 1-2 minutes per side.

Place the pan in the oven and cook until the salmon is cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
