As anyone who reads my blog knows, I love food! Inside and out, everything about it. But what I’ve discovered since my first book was published in 2015, is that many people are mystified by it. Food is a key part of our nourishment, wellness, and good health and yet is often one of the most confusing, difficult parts of our daily routine. What I’ve learned from my students, and the readers of my cookbooks is that people want information about
- What eating plan is best for their bodies
- Tips about what foods to purchase
- Developing better skills in the kitchen so that they are more comfortable cooking at home
Cooking your own meals doesn’t mean hours at the stove. When you sign up for one of my Wellness Coaching programs, I’ll offer real life recipes and suggestions that can be prepared quickly, or prepared ahead.
Why I Chose to be a Wellness Coach
Many readers contacted me asking if they could work with me as they transitioned to a whole foods Ant-Inflammatory Diet, which is the diet most effective for good health and vitality. To that end I enrolled in a health coaching program, and received certification with the Health Coach Institute (HCI). I wanted to combine my food knowledge with the proven successful habit change program offered by HCI. There are three steps to successful habit change and my programs offer all three, a good plan, action items, and accountability.
